This means that the files submitted are still kept and secured by Datasure through its Copyright.eu service, but are no longer immediately downloadable in your member area.
Why are my files prior to December 1, 2023 no longer visible on my repository in the members area?
All files prior to December 1, 2023 have been securely archived in accordance with our internal security policies. These files are still secure and archived, but are no longer immediately available to the Customer in their member area since they are kept off-site.
Are my files still protected? How to prove it?
Yes, files submitted before December 1, 2023 are of course still protected. You can always retrieve your Certificate of Priority at any time in your member area, on the relevant deposit page. This certificate of anticipation provides proof of the existence of your files on a specific date.
I have an urgent and vital need to retrieve a copy of my files deposited before December 1, 2023, what should I do?
You have the possibility of requesting support if you absolutely need to access your files submitted before December 1, 2023. To do this, please write to support@copyright.eu specifying the following:
- Name of concerned files
- Initial filing number concerned for these files
- Your certificate of anticipation issued by Copyright.eu relating to the files concerned
- Any proof of your identity, or make the request from your customer email
- The compelling reason for your request (Current trial, litigation, need to prove the integrity of the original files, etc.)
What happens to files submitted from December 1, 2023?
All files submitted from December 1, 2023 will be available for direct download from your customer area. The improvement of our service relating to the implementation of Datasure Proof Vault through Copyright.eu, you now have the additional possibility and at no cost to obtain a certificate of conservation in a safe for each of your files.
